Heh... good luck getting in touch w/ anyone there. I called
for "priority" tech support a couple of weeks ago and sat on hold
for over 3 hours! I turned around and purchased a contract and
and I *still* have to wait to talk to a tech, now two weeks later
my problem still isn't resolved (modems appearing
on 195 list and causing calls to get routed to the HDLC port).
You've got a bad box -- get it RMA'd and don't bother with troubleshooting.
The box shouldn't reboot that often, and I've got enough 40XX and 60XX
on my network to know.
Good luck...(oh, and Lucent's number is 1-800-ASCEND-4). That
one still works.
