Just as an fyi, there are various "network appliance" type boxes out there
that are designed to terminate tunnels.  The only one I have first
hand experience with is the Nortel "extranet switch" (it used to
be the "Bay Networks Extranet Switch", so it might be called something
different under Nortel).  It works pretty well, and has some very
nice features.  It was originally manufactured by "New Oak", and Bay
acquired them.  Just another option to consider in case you're like
us, and really don't like the idea of using a Microsoft product
for this/any application.  :)
