Re: [TCLUG:5203] ide irq, timeout and machine lockups



I think I traced it to the bus mastering in the ide
driver. The manpages of hdparm says that bus mastering
is kind of experimental only, at least in the 2.0.36 kernel
which I have. 

I can turn it off with a hdparm -d0 /dev/hdX
Anybody know how I can set this up in the lilo, so that
it comes up with busmastering disabled during the bootup ?
