1.) Have multiple phone lines? Perhaps multiplex?
2.) Move. It may sound too techno-geeky, but one of the factors in choosing my
current location was DSL availability.

One option would be ISDN.  I believe you can get 128k, however the cost is
pretty high...Sixty something/month for the line(transport), then whatever
for the ISP charge.  That does not include the setup charges either...

All are welcome to correct me if I'm wrong...
