So far, it's been hurting my feelings a lot. Its Window Maker is broken
(windows disappear when I click the minimize button), its LILO is broken,
its kernel is weird (well, I always get a fresh tarball anyway, but
still), and such. I got a good laugh out of KDE and GNOME, though, that
was worth the purchase price.

All these problems are fixable with source tarballs, but the whole reason
I liked RHL 5.2 was that I didn't have to do any of that crap. The
packages worked. I want to work *on my workstation*, not *work on*
workstation. I'm fussy. :)

Maybe Mandrake is fine, and I hope other people like it. But it made me
wish I hadn't whacked my RHL 5.2 install. I've wasted hours.
