Re: [TCLUG:5929] CD Burners & Linux

There is a link to Supported CD-Writers
http://www.shop.de/cgi-bin/winni/lsc.pl

This will come in handy.
http://metalab.unc.edu/LDP/HOWTO/CD-Writing-HOWTO.html

I would check http://www.pricewatch.com for good prices.

I just got bought the YAMAHA CRW-4416 cd burner from
http://www.memorymedia.com/

I have it working under win95, but not Linux (yet).
So I am also eager to hear any tips or problems I might run into.
I messed up my system rebuilding the kernel to add support for SCSI and
a few other things that were needed for cd-recording.

Happy hunting!
