Well, any cam that comes with a capture card based on a BT848 will
work. I have had a Panasonic eggcam, Intel's cam and the 3com BigPicture.
The EggCam came without a card although advertized to include one, so I
sent it back. Both the remaining cams captured great quality images. The
Intel camera was slightly nicer because it had a mount that was actually
connected to the camera. The 3com one tends to move around on it's
own. The card that came with the Intel also had a S-Video input, although
that wasn't supported under Linux at the time (dunno about now).
