I believe the Soundblaster PCI128 uses the es1370 chip.

Just compile that in there (the es1370 module), along with
modular sound support, and everything should be ready
to go.

I have an IntelliMouse Explorer, also.

Under X: Use the Protocol "IMPS/2" - I use imwheel for wheel
usage, it works real well.

Under GPM: Make sure you pass the -t ps2 to GPM.  You might
need a link from /dev/mouse to /dev/psaux, also (providing
that you're using it on your PS/2 port).  You might want to try
using the -t imps2 option for GPM also, as it says it can make
the wheel work.
