I work for a company formerly known as Signature Enterprises, so all the
machines there are SIGSERVER01, SIGDEV01, SIGDEV02, SIGOPS01, etc.  And
then the full-drive shares (they're all NT) are named dave_c, dave_d, etc.

The machine names don't do a lot of good unless you know what department
everyone is in (which is ill-defined in a company of 10 people...) and the
share names just confirm that you got the right one.  Shouldn't a naming
scheme be either useful or interesting (if not both)?
