What?  Resizing the XTerm is annoying?  I know that I forget to run
'pico -w' occasionally when I want to edit code..  (But you could
probably create a nice Bash function to 'detect' .c/.cpp/whatever files
and run pico in non-wrap mode)

I have to second the note someone made about students here at the U
getting really confused using vi.  It's alright if you don't force
people to use vi (I had a friend that was forced to use a HP-UX box that
was very bare-bones and the only editor was vi.  He got really pissed
off and was very happy when he finished the course)
