speaking of NFS....

Has anyone played with any alternatives to NFS, such as Coda? How do they
rate in comparison? It would be nice if there were a network filesystem
that a) worked the same as NFS, because NFS is nothing but a badly
implemented Good Idea, and b) wasn't so awful in terms of ease of
administration, performance, and reliability.
