RE: [TCLUG:20969] -- MARK --
This has been in Solaris for a long long time. Very useful when you have
hardware/power problems and/or lose a disk because you can figure out at
roughly what time things happened.

which is a new thing anyway.. i used to just trust syslog to stay
running.. *sigh* welcome linux to the NT style of doing things.
