(ASCEND) Frame Relay

I have configured the serial port onm a MAX 1800 for frame relay on an
128K link.

When I do "show fr stat" it says "up" but 64K.

Is this normal?

Also I am told to use LMI for management, but can only find AnnexA od
AnnexD or none as options (I chose AnnexA, and it seems to work). Is
LMI a generic term? Can anyone explain what this link management stuff
means in practical terms?
