(ASCEND) 7.2.3 for Pipelines 50/75/85 and Pipeline 220
TAOS Release 7.3.2 for the Pipelines 50/75/85 and Pipeline 220 is available
from Customer Support
This release contains the following:
Enhancements
* Lucent IPsec Client support
* NAT enhancements
Corrections
* TR 258752 When one of the LAN interface addresses was identical to the
WAN interface address for single-address NAT, NAT deleted the route for the
LAN interface address when the WAN link went down. This problem has been
corrected.
* TR258753 The SuperPipe NAT translation table sometimes fills with
non-existent TCP destinations that were permanently set to expire in 24
hours. This timer is now configurable. Should this problem occur, set the
Idle TCP Timeout parameter to a shorter period of time allowing the idle
TCP NAT translation table entries to expire sooner.
* TR258640 The problem with the M-bit never being set in X.25 packets
during binary data transfer has been corrected.
* TR5163 Configuring a Pipeline for international ISDN switch types, such
as German and Swiss, which do not require SPIDS and My Num information, did
not restore properly with the TRESTORE/FRESTORE monitor command. This
problem has been corrected.
* TR250031 & TR5375 When BOOTP Relay forwards BOOTP requests, the IP
lengths of those packets were set to a fixed value. Because the size of
BOOTP requests (UDP length) can vary, the UDP length plus the IP header did
not match the IP length. This problem has been corrected.
* TR5095 In Nortel's latest version of DMS100 switch software (411.20),
there is an incompatibility with the Pipelines. This incompatibility has
been corrected.
