This is a cool idea assuming the library policies accept this sort of thing.  On the other hand perhaps the TCLUG could form it's own lending library.  I'd be willing to contribute to either of these.

While I'm on the subject.  I got some money back from taxes and after buying a new scanner I have a little left that I'd like to use to further the cause of Linux.  But I can't figure out where to contribute it.  I'm sort of leaning towards XFree86 but I don't know much about them aside from the fact that I wish XFree86 had better looking cursors and better mousewheel support.  I'd like to contribute to Gnome but who _is_ Gnome?  I use Enlightenment but I saw that Raster just bought a new car and it's a hell of a lot nicer than mine. :-/  Maybe I'll just go buy some stuff at Linux Mall.  Any suggestions?
