Nice idea that of donating books !  I do not mind helping out.

How about donating a few linux CDs to the library. May be people
could borrow them for trying out at home ! 

Or even set up a few terminals that run netscape on linux
and offer to maintain them at the library ?  I see that they
have 2 terminals that people use at the Dakota County, both
of which run windows95. Though the funny thing is that the
text based web-browser on the vt-terms is lynx !
