        ah, ok.
        it occurred to me last night, to try changing my memory. I've got an
extra 16MB of 'found' memory I put in there a while ago; which seems to
work, but isn't the same as the other 32MB of memory. I'll try pulling that
out tonight, and see if reliability improves.
        heat isn't a problem, since I've been running with the cover off. :)
It never really got hot in the first place (big AT full-tower case).
