Re: [TCLUG:11325] xntpd peer-to-peer time sync?



Bob,

Are you sure the server is running? The default configuration should get
you an independent time provider, and I get that error message when I
point ntpdate at a box not providing an ntp service (I was told it was,
but when I said I couldn't, they said "oh yeah, use rdate for right now"
:-/ ). Let me know what you learn, I am interested,
