Re: [TCLUG:6858] Reading Joliet CD-ROMs



It was definitely not written with the software that shipped with the
drive.  We had problems earlier burning CD with the software that
shipped with the drive, so we bought this.  It may not be the "Deluxe"
version, but it some adjective that's supposed to make it sound like the
neatest thing since sliced bread.

I also checked and it is set to create Joliet CD's.  Could it possible
be mixing in this packet-writing technique?  Can the packet-written CD's
be read at all on other platforms?  (Most of the CD can be read quite
well.)
