	*grin*

I usually try to operate under the premise that people are
fairly bright (may not be true I know), but not really interested in
investing an enourmous amount of time in learning the nitty-gritty
details of electronic gadgets or software. I _especially_ keep that in
mind when designing user interfaces.

One of my main beefs with Windows is that it's philosophy is to
design user interfaces not as if people had an important job they wanted
to do, and didn't want the computer to get in the way, but as if people
were stupid.

*nod* I can see that point of view.

I, personally, use it as my main news source. Kinda sad, but
it's the only news source that's fairly interactive, and has a lot of
people interested in determining the truth. I don't watch TV. I don't
listen to the radio. I rarely read the newspaper. This is because I
have very little trust in most of our mainstream news media.

That being said, John Katz is very valuable to me on there. I'm
not only interested in technology stories. I don't trust the mainstream
news media to tell me what other stories are important, but John Katz
has had a good record so far.

Have fun (if at all possible),
