Re: [TCLUG:4144] No boot - old kernel



Check and cee if you have an /etc/mtab file.  If not, mount your
filesystem from a rescue disk:
mount /dev/hda1 /mnt
touch /mnt/etc/mtab
This shouldn't matter on a non-redhat system, but I've noticed that
redhat's boot scripts go banannas if there's no /etc/mtab at boot time.
